This male was hugely fat from a night of feasting & in typical lion fashion...he was beautiful to look at but he wasn't doing much!

RIP, Heritage

I have just received the sad news that the magestic Heritage, a wonderful bull elephant in the Mara has sadly been poached. It is tragic that these beautiful animals are being brutally killed for something as insignificant as ivory. 

Its a terrible waste.
